Music competition auditions dates for Open Mic UK 2017 have been announced!

 

Open Mic UK have announced their music competition auditions dates for Open Mic UK 2017! The Open Mic UK music competition auditions will be hosted at 14 regions across the UK and the competition will be searching to find the UK’s best singers, singer songwriters, rappers and vocal groups!

 

PERFORM IN FRONT OF RECORD LABEL A&R AND GET YOUR MUSIC HEARD!

 

It’s a chance for aspiring singers and musicians to perform to Music industry judges who are at every stage of the music competition from the auditions to the Grand Final. Judges in the past include judges that work for the three major record labels (Universal, Warner and Sony) in attendance at last year’s competition, as well as festival organisers, national radio DJs, regional press and BBC Introducing, with judges getting more prestigious as the competition progresses.

Rachel Ann Crowned TeenStar Singing Competition Winner

The national singing competition TeenStar has found its latest winner! Joining a long line of prestigious Future Music competition winners, Rachel Ann from Bournemouth, Dorset has been crowned the champion of the national TeenStar competition at The NEC in Birmingham!

Rachel Ann was crowned champion in front of a capacity crowd and a prestigious music industry judging panel at The NEC in Birmingham on Saturday night. Her unique performance of Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game” won over the competition industry judges making her the overall winner of TeenStar. She will now be offered a recording and development deal including a £5,000 advance to spend on the development of her music.

Music industry judges at the National Singing Competition Grand Final

 

After impressing the judging panel at the auditions, Rachel Ann battled against more than 9,000 acts who entered for TeenStar this year across the UK. She went on to perform in the TeenStar live showcases, battling through both Regional and Area Final heats to make it to the national Grand Final.

 

The judging panel for the Grand Final included record label representatives from Universal, as well representatives from music management companies, recording studios, professional musicians, national press representatives and the examination board, Rock School.

 

Rachel Ann has now won a comprehensive consultation package with Future Music, an extensive winner’s publicity package, and an amazing £5,000 advance to spend on the development of her music. On winning the prizes Rachel said, “I’m literally speechless, overjoyed with happiness. Thank you to everyone for all the support!”

Richard Jones crowned music competition winner!

The national music competition Open Mic UK has found its latest winner! Joining a long line of prestigious Future Music competition winners, Richard Jones from Wolverhampton has been crowned the champion of the national Open Mic UK music competition at The NEC in Birmingham!

TeenStar, the UK’s only singing competition exclusively for pre-teens and teenagers to audition and compete, have now released their audition dates for their next singing competition. TEENSTAR 2015 SINGING AUDITIONS

TeenStar consists of a UK-wide search for the finest young talent the UK has to offer, with audition dates being held across the country. The competition audition dates and live events take place at some of the best venues in the UK and culminate in a spectacular National Grand Final, which has previously been held in The NEC in Birmingham and within The O2 in London. With over 9,000 entrants last year, the 2015 competition is set to be the biggest yet!
